Epidemiological data
In the United States, approximately 20 to 40% of the general population has
a high blood pressure.
High blood pressure is
a worldwide disease, the most exposed populations being the American
Blacks, the Russians and the Finnish.
On the other hand, arterial
hypertension is rarely found in Africa and southern China. Of course,
this data results from epidemiological works which can be criticized.
